What is an AFOL Day
The AFOL day attracts a range of LEGO enthusiasts from all around New Zealand (and Australia) to come together and participate in a range of activities, competitions, presentations and workshops where we also give away a WHOLE LOT of LEGO.
A Typical Weekend
Guest Speakers/Presentations
The day usually includes a presentation or two from subject matter experts or talks from special guests.

Workshops
do a range of workshops that cover topics such as introducing movement, lighting or sounds to your builds, landscaping, and indirect workshops like how to take a good photo of your models or how to use building tools like LDD and Stud.io for example

Random Prizes
We have plenty of LEGO to randomly give away, with every participant in the draw to win some huge prizes.
AFOL Dinner
We finish the day with a special dinner which includes more fun activities.

Activities
There will always be something to keep you occupied throughout the day.

Goodie Bag
Every participant gets an AFOL goodie bag full of LEGO treats, including that year's Show Set
New Zealand's only 3-day Brick Convention
The weekend started with our usual AFOL Day (exhibitors only) held on a Friday which treated our exhibitors to games, activities, prizes and loads of fun.

Saturday and Sunday is open to the public

Well-LUG is run by volunteers, and with each show, we partner up with a local charity raising money to benefit them and the local community.
